Hi I'm Tish!
I’m an acrylic painter, expressive art guide, and the heart behind Create2Breathe™.

For over 12 years, I’ve explored painting as a way to connect— connect with color, with feeling, and with the deeper parts of myself that words can’t always reach and now I want to share it with you.

See, I've painted all my life, but after art school I  found myself bound up and blocked creatively with anxiety and frustration when I would paint. It was never good enough in my mind. It just wasn't perfect! I clung to the rules I learned in art school and felt stuck. It was anything but relaxing.

It wasn't until after I  had simply let go of my painting practice all together that I realized just how much I    needed it. I also knew it had to look completely different. Through surrendering to the process and allowing myself to let go of rules, rigidity and perfectionism I  discovered a new way to create that brought me so much healing that I  desperately needed. Over time it also helped me to develop my signature style as an artist. This new way was everyting my old practice wasn't. It felt free, liberating and down right fun! No perfection, no judgement, no self-doubt. Just playing, listening and breathing. This is how Create2Breathe™ was born!

Now my process is intuitive, playful, and emotionally rich. Creativity is a form of self-care for me—one that helps me breathe a little deeper and feel a little more alive. I want you to discover this for yourself so I've developed courses to help you loosen up, have fun and care for your creative spirit. Stick with me and you might even discover your own creative style too!

I've intentionally designed my courses to be completely different than other courses you may have taken.  I help other creatives let go of overthinking, rediscover the joy of painting, and create from a place of presence and inner trust. Besides, perfect doesnt exist and if it did, it would be boring!
